Open Access Policy: All articles published by AROC in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology are open access and will be immediately and permanently available online for everyone to read at no cost.
Copyright policy: AROC journals normally assign copyright to authors during publication in order to protect original material, and stop other people from using the published work without the author’s permission. Articles in AROC in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology can be downloaded, shared, and reused without restriction, as long as the original authors are properly cited.
Licensing policy: Articles published in AROC in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology are licensed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). The licensing information will be display in the PDF file of all articles published in AROC in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology. The contents are free to be share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose (even commercially) provided that the source is properly acknowledged.
Repository policy: Authors are allowed to deposit only the published version of their manuscript on institutional web pages or other repositories of their choice without embargo. We encouraged these practices as they will enhance open scientific discussions, increase the visibility and citation of their articles
Peer-review Policy: To ensure an unbiased review process, AROC in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology implemented a double-blind peer review process for all submission types. This means that the identity of the reviewers and the authors will not be revealed to each other. The manuscript will be review strictly by at least 2 experts in the field. The reports from all the reviewers invited will be considered when making the final decision (reject/revise) by the handling editor. In case of revision, the author (s) is expected to revise the manuscript and respond to all reviewer’s comments within 2-4 weeks depending on the reviewer’s decision (Minor or Major Revision).
Plagiarism policy: There is a zero-tolerance policy towards plagiarism in AROC in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology. The author(s) must ensure that they have written entirely original works, with appropriate citation of literature consulted. Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism before or during publication, especially after acceptance and if found they will be rejected at any stage of processing.
Waiver Policy: Our primary goal is to fast-track the dissemination of African based research through the publication of high-quality research articles. Therefore, our article processing charges (APC) is minimal (40.00 $ only) to ensure that authors are not overburdened by the APC when they choose to publish their manuscripts with AROC Journals. In addition to this, AROC Journals provide waivers on a case-to-case basis depending on the academic position (Student or institutional staff), country classification and authors financial status. We understand that most students in African institutions are under self-sponsored studies, and most institutions may have limited funding for their research activities. Thus, we have established a waiver system that may ease the payment of the manuscript publication fee. Authors may be eligible for 10%, 20% or 50% waiver of APC. The corresponding author may apply for a waiver before the first editorial decision on their article and must be directed to the editorial office ([email protected]). Kindly include the article number and journal category in your request.
Archiving Policy: AROC in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology is committed to the long-term preservation of its content. All articles published by the journal are preserved by AROC Journals (https://arocjournal.com/) and by the Internet Archive (https://archive.org/details/@aroc_journals). In addition, the Journal encourages authors to archive the published version of their articles on their institutional website or any other academic or personal repositories.
